Happy Birthday Emily Bett Rickards (July 24, 1991)
I had my eyes opened. I came to realize that I had more to offer this world than just making things that blow up. And that is why, effective immediately, I am shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of Stark Industries.
It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.
I’m done with teenage boys.
do you ever wish you had a butler or a housemaid or someone just so you could be like super nice to them and be their bestfriend and pay them to live in your house and do stupid stuff with you and occasionally make you breakfast or clean your room like come on
I love fashion, I do. It’s a hobby of mine. I think I might start a blog called (‘cos I’m a foodie, which doesn’t really mix) ‘Fashion and French Fries’. Yeah, we’re working on that right now.
I won’t make a bucket list because I’m so afraid that I’ll die and then people will find my bucket list and be, like, “Oh, she didn’t get to do that.”
